Publication Ethics
Journal of Science and Education Development (JSED) upholds the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice. The journal adopts ethical guidelines based on the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All parties involved in the publication process—authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher—are expected to follow these ethical standards.
1. Responsibilities of Authors
-
Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are original works, free from plagiarism, and have not been published or submitted elsewhere.
-
Authors must present their research results honestly, without data fabrication, falsification, or inappropriate manipulation.
-
All sources and references must be properly acknowledged and cited.
-
All individuals who have made a significant contribution to the work should be listed as co-authors, and all co-authors must agree to the final version of the manuscript.
-
Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may influence the interpretation of their research.
2. Responsibilities of Editors
-
Editors are responsible for deciding which submitted manuscripts should be published, based on the recommendations from reviewers.
-
Editors evaluate manuscripts solely on the basis of academic merit, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope, without discrimination based on gender, race, religion, or political views.
-
Editors must ensure a fair double-blind review process and maintain the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts.
-
Editors must take appropriate action when ethical complaints arise, in accordance with COPE guidelines.
3. Responsibilities of Reviewers
-
Reviewers assist the editorial board in making editorial decisions and improving the quality of manuscripts.
-
Reviewers must treat manuscripts as confidential documents and must not use the information obtained during the review process for personal advantage.

Reviews should be conducted objectively, with constructive feedback, free from personal criticism.
