Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to Law and Social Development Journal (LSDJ) undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and relevance of published works. The entire review cycle is designed to be efficient, with the goal of completing the process within 30 (thirty) days from submission to the issuance of the Letter of Acceptance (LoA).
Stages of Review
-
Initial Screening (Day 1–5):
The editorial office checks the manuscript for compliance with author guidelines, plagiarism screening, and relevance to the journal’s scope. -
Peer Review (Day 6–20):
Manuscripts passing the initial screening are sent to two reviewers under a double-blind system. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, scientific rigor, clarity, and contribution to the field. -
Editorial Decision (Day 21–25):
Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief decides whether to:-
Accept the manuscript,
-
Request minor or major revisions, or
-
Reject the manuscript.
-
-
Final Revision and Acceptance (Day 26–30):
Authors submit the revised version, which is checked by the editors. Once the manuscript meets the requirements, a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) is issued.
