Copyright and License

Authors who publish with Law and Social Development Journal (LSDJ) agree to the following terms:

1. Copyright

   • Authors retain copyright of their work.

   • Authors grant LSDJ the right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license.

2. License

   • Under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license, others are permitted to share, copy, redistribute, remix, transform, and build upon the work for non-commercial purposes, provided that proper credit is given to the original author(s) and the source.

   • Commercial use of the content requires prior permission from the author(s) and the journal.

3. Author Rights

   • Authors are allowed to deposit their published articles in institutional repositories, personal websites, or other platforms with proper citation to the published version in LSDJ.

   • Authors may enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published version (e.g., posting to a book or edited volume), with acknowledgment of its initial publication in LSDJ.

4. Publisher Responsibilities

   • LSDJ ensures the permanent availability and preservation of published articles through digital archiving systems.

   • The journal maintains the integrity, accessibility, and visibility of all published works.
